Behen Hogi Teri is quirky, funny and almost enjoyable. Trailer promised us lots of fun but the film lacks that high humour quotient. It has its share of comedy but it is limited. Story of the film is interesting and different as well. The idea is very nice but execution seems half hearted. Second half is full of unnecessary confusion, more than required characters pop up and the protagonists are missing for most of the time.
Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan make Behen Hogi Teri worth watching. Rajkummar Rao’s performance is always perfect to the T and this one is no different. He makes you feel the pain of not getting his true love. Shruti Haasan surprises you with her act. She is different in true sense from whatever she has done till now. Her performance is simply loveable. Harry Tangri is impressive, Darshan Jariwala is same as he is in every other film, Gautam Gulati is simply avoidable, Ranjit amd Gulshan Grover hardly have anything to do in the film. Music in the film plays a spoil sport. It sort of holds back the pace of the film. Compositions aren’t that great also.
Overall Behen Hogi Teri is good efforts which did not result in equally good film. One time satellite watch.
