Moh Maya Money is surprisingly good. The trailer did not do even slight justice to the film. Film has a very gripping story, fairly good performances and you are thoroughly entertained for hundred and ten minutes.
Right from the first shot of the film you are into the film and just curious to know what next. Narrative is superb. Munish Bhardwaj has brilliantly executed his story. In first half when the film goes back and forth for sometime you are confused for a while but then this confusion is also enjoyed. The twists and turns may not be great but they surely don’t spoil your curiosity.
Ranvir Shorey is a great actor and his act in this one is as great as him. It just feels that this role might have been a cake walk for him considering his superb performances in Mithya, Bheja Fry, Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. or yet to release A Death In The Gunj. Neha Dhupia was sort of revelation. She was so genuine as a stressed professional, a helpless wife yet a strong woman. I enjoyed her as Divya. The remaining supporting cast is simply good.
Munish Bhardwaj was just too good at his craft. The editing of the film was to the point. No unnecessary drama, story never lost track. It’s just the climax that could have been better but then it is satisfying for sure. Music is lacking in the film but that hardly matters as there was no place for songs in the film.
Overall Moh Maya Money is definitely worth a watch.
