One more film with same boy meets girl story. They meet, fall in love, things don’t work out so they decide to break up and ultimately come together by the end of the film. I think this particular type of love story is done to death in film in all languages. The only way to save them is different execution.

Mr. & Mrs. Sadachari has nothing to do with Mr. & Mrs. its all about Mr. Tatwawadi i.e Vaibhav Tatwawadi. His fans are in for a treat with this one. His character is simply outstanding giving him enough scope to perform. Vaibhav has performed exceptionally well, he is romantic, humorous, emotional, angry. He is a perfect friend, perfect son and perfect lover. His character has no flaws. Remaining cast has performed well, Mohan Joshi shining out in the rest. Prarthana Behre seems disinterested in the film. Her performance looks very incomplete. Ashish Wagh’s direction is just up to mark, he has managed to get some very good performance from his actors and that’s about it.

You have to wait for the interval for good things to start in the film, before that the film is plain boring. It looks like a typical commercial masala entertainer. Post interval things become better but only in comparison with the first half. Even in second half things go haywire and the film becomes predictable. The film at places reminds you of Swapnil Joshi – Sachint Patil starer Friends. Action scenes in the film are well designed and well shot. Music is very confusing at one place the song is very traditional like Vaibhav’s introductory song and there is also completely westernized title track contradicting each other. Editing of the film is very unstable. At places the story seems to be halted for no reason.

Overall Mr. & Mrs. Sadachari is all about Vaibhav Tatwawadi. Watch this one only if you like him, else not at all recommended. Rating is just for him.

Rating: 2/5
