Divya Khosla Kumar is trying to make her own style of films which actually only she can watch. Film that has a poor or no story, chart-buster songs, good looking actors and beautiful locations. Sanam Re is no different. The story of the film is bad, I wonder even if there is a story of Sanam Re which can be told properly. Album is good because it has all types of songs; from soothing romantic track to Honey Singh’s party song. Locations of the film is the only thing for which film can be watched. Pulkit Samrat fans are in for a treat.
Sanam Re is a pointless film. What happens in the first half is out of explanation. In second half things just happen and the film comes to an end. I mean who even wrote this story. No start, no end incidents just happen. Flashbacks are just pointless.
Now I am stuck and don’t know what more do I write. Performances are just avoidable. Pulkit Samrat flaunts his body. Yami Gautam enjoys her vacation. Urvashi Rautela has no idea what is she doing in the film. Music of the film is a hit so no comments. Direction is better not spoken about. Even if I try very hard to find one good thing about the film; I don’t have anything. Talking about the beautiful locations in the film; this is not the only one film where you see good locations, take DVDs of old film shot at good locations and watch it. No need to waste your money on Sanam Re.
Sanam Re is simply not recommended.
Rating: Still thinking.
