Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru have their own style of making films. Story is as simple as possible, at times references from recent Bollywood films like this one had little from Jab We Met.
Sanam Teri Kasam is a typical girl meets boy story. It is very old fashioned, somewhat on the lines of Indian TV series. Film has some very good moments, mostly emotional but not that impacting and fail to connect with you. Film towards the end has lots of good stuff but unfortunately before that you have lost all your patience. In short all the good things in Sanam Teri Kasam are scattered all over film.
Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane have given an honest performance. Both of them have great potential. Their chemistry in the film is the highlight of the film. Supporting cast is equally good.
Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru have applied their tried and tested formula which has not been successful yet. They hesitate to try something new which is clearly visible. Looking at their films budget never seems a problem. Editing is below average and that has affected the film. Starts well making you curious but gradually you become disinterested. Fails to keep you engaged throughout. Music is decent.
Overall Sanam Teri Kasam can be watched for Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane.
