Trailer of Jazbaa received mixed response but the film isn’t that bad, note for those who found the trailer unimpressive. Film is to the point with just a two minute song featuring Irrfan Khan that loses the momentum of the film. Jazbaa has great performances from the entire cast, very good direction and suitable background score but at places it fails to engage you, but editing plays a savior at many places in the film. You start loosing interest at some point in the second half yet it does not bore you. Songs act like fillers, thankfully they just play in the background. Like trailer there is lots of green colour in the film. Sanjay Gupta’s obsession with green can be best explained by himself. Sadly this green is quite prominent in the film.
JAZBAA
First and foremost Jazbaa should be seen just for the fact that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back on the big screen. Her stunning performance is something just to die for. Jazbaa is a typical Sanjay Gupta film, this time it revolves around one woman and not a gang of men.
On the whole Jazbaa can be watched once without any second half. Robust performance of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sanjay Gupta’s direction and eye pleasing cinematography will give you your moneys worth. Jazbaa isn’t that bad.
