WELCOME BACK

People say that there are movies which should be watched keeping your brains aside. My question is why can’t the makers use their brains and make add some sense to the film. Welcome Back is one such film. Makers have not taken any efforts to write a decent story or interesting characters.

Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar are back as Majnu and Uday which audiences loved in the prequel, but this time they are not that funny. Same for Paresh Rawal. John Abraham, Shruti Hassan, Dimple Kapadia, Ankita Shrivastav, Naseeruddin Shah needs to be questioned why they choose to be part of such a bad film. John seems to be digging his own grave of Bollywood career by doing such films. Shruti looks desperate to make her career in Bollywood by doing this film. Dimple Kapadia and Naseeruddin Shah shouldn’t switch off their brains and do such film just getting noticed by masses. Shiny Ahuja is not even noticeable in the film.

Biggest problem with Welcome Back is that, it isn’t funny. Barely some scenes where you giggle not even laugh, thats it. Film has too many double meaning dialogues and makers promote it as a family entertainer. Songs are too bad and lyrics are shameful is some of them.

Unfortunately there is still an audience for such films. If you enjoyed Welcome in 2007 you will love this one too. I didn’t enjoy both so I won’t recommend this one.
