The film that doesn’t bore you even for a second need not necessarily be a good film. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a perfect example of such unique case. The film has a decent storyline. Kindly watch the official trailer to know the story of the film.
Salman Khan is good in the film because you see him in such an adorable role after a very long time. But if you observe closely his performance is somewhat similar to what he did in Bodyguard (2011). Kareena Kapoor looked very beautiful in the film. That’s all about her. Harshali Malhotra is the scene stealer. She was a delight to watch on the screen. Nawazuddin Siddhiqui, like always just proves how good he is as an actor.
Kabir Khan has made some fabulous films before. Bajrangi Bhaijaan has made him an out and out commercial director. Not all commercial film makers are good directors. Hope the time doesn’t come where Kabir is known to make only time pass commercial cinema. Film is shot beautifully. The way Kashmir, Punjab and Rajasthan is captured; is breathtaking. The film is slow paced initially but then gradually becomes fine. Trailer needs to be blamed for film being predictable so often. Music is completely avoidable. The songs sound indifferent to the film. Film would have been much better without songs.
Kabir Khan fans might find it hard to digest this film because this time it seems Kabir was entirely dependent on Salman keeping his art and creativity aside. Salman Khan fans are in for a treat as this one is packed with humour, emotions and drama. Nothing exceptional, hoping for something better from Kabir Khan next time and definitely without Salman Khan.
