Neeaj Pandey hits bulls eye like always. Baby is no less than the directors previous films that were nothing short of quality cinema. Baby is fast, edge of the seat thriller with some brilliant performances from the entire cast and outstanding direction of Neeraj Pandey.

Baby is Akshay Kumar’s film because he is the whole and sole of the film with rest other characters having special appearances. Bollywood has too many films whose subject revolve around terrorism but Baby is something different because of it’s treatment, production design, editing, performances and direction.  Neeraj Pandey’s vision to discuss the topic makes Baby different from others.

Film has no out of the box story, same mission of India to stop terrorism and teach a lesson to the neighboring country. Film having so many old, tried and tested formulas wins because, throughout it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Baby has villains which are as smart, talented and intelligent as the heroes. At times villains are step ahead and shocks the heroes making situation difficult for the heroes.

Akshay Kumar is very good. Kay Kay Menon, Danny Denzongpa, Rana Daggubatti, Jameel Khan, Tapsee Pannu play their parts well but Anupam Kher shines in his performance overshadowing everyone in the cast. Editing of the film and direction is the plus point of the film. Film has good amount of humor and very good action scenes. Baby does not give you a chance to think of anything else. Film has handful of powerful dialogues that will make audience clap and whistle. Film is so engaging that it will not give you a single second to look at you mobile phone or answer any important calls.

Baby needs to be watched for Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar. You cannot miss this one. Undoubtedly the first best film of the year.
