Unless and until you do not have something out of the box, it makes no sense to make a horror movie. All most all horror movie start with a couple or a family living their happy life and suddenly something happen to the home they are living in, ghosts come scare all of them, the protagonists do something and then the ghosts disappear and then happy ending. Pizza is nothing different apart from giving it an illogical touch making it slightly better but not enough to keep you on the edge of your seat and that’s where film disappoints. Akshay Akkineki did nothing innovative or exceptional in this genre. Same camera angles same approach in portraying ghosts. The film is very little scary and that too in bits and parts. The 3D effects of the film do not help the film in making it a better movie. The protagonist Akshay Oberoi and Parvathy Omanakuttan had no scope to prove their acting talents. Music of the film is below average. Editing of the film is not great at all. Some portions seem to be very unnecessary.
On the whole Pizza is an ordinary horror fare with nothing new to offer and not very scary too. Watch this one only if you can watch anything and everything in horror genre, only if you are a die hard fan of this genre. The film is not that bad neither avoidable hence this rating.
