BAJATEY RAHO

Comedies have been a very safe genre in bollywood. But now a days the challenge is how can your comedy film be different from the other films. Bajatey Raho tries to do something different and does not succeeded at all.

Sabbarwhal (Ravi Kishen) is a big time fraud. He cons Mr.Baweja and the Baweja family is shatters. Mrs.Baweja(Dolly Ahluwalia) plans to take revenge from Sabbarwhal with the help her kids Sukkhi (Tusshar Kapoor), Ballu (Ranvir Shorey) and Mintoo (Vinay Pathak). What plan the Baweja family makes to take revenge from baddie Sabarwhal is what Bajatey Raho all about.

Dolly Ahluwalia is the only performer in the entire film. She has played her role with conviction. The other cast which includes Tusshar Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak, Ravi Kishen and Vishaka Singh all of them were average. Ravi Kishen was slightly better than the others. Overall the performances of the film are average.

Shashant Shah was average as a director. Nothing extraordinary in his direction style. Story and Screenplay of the film were good. The execution could have been better. The film did look like Khosla Ka Ghosla from the promos but then you don’t remember it while watching this one. Dialogues of the film are bad. Very few punches int he film which manages to bring a small smile on your face. Editing of the film was to the point, little bit more length could have spoiled the film even more. Music of the film was of no use. The film could still have been the same without songs in it.

Overall Bajatey Raho is not that bad. It can be watched once if there is no source of entertainment for you this weekend, but don’t pay too much for this one. Only one good thing about the film is Dolly Ahluwalia. A decent timepass film.
