The first part had Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, this time the nain’s have become dagabaaz. Dagabaaz Re is a duet sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal. Both the voices are perfect to this song. No doubt when you hear this song you remember Mast Mast Do Nain but still this one has it’s own charm. While listening this song you visualize the beautiful eyes of Sonakshi. The song is shot on the streets and Salman and Sonakshi look perfect, the visuals are repetitive but not to worry they are good and there is little new stuff added this time.
Next Chulbul Pandey back with a bang in Pandeyjee Bajayee Seeti. Sung by Wajid, Mamta Sharma and Shreya Ghoshal is on the similar lines of Humka Peeni Hai but a step ahead as one can hear Shreya and Mamta’s voice. The song gives you an idea about how corrupt Pandeyjee can be. The female voclas are just like a cherry on the cake and make the song better. The lyrics of the song gives you an idea about Pandeyjee’s work style when he is at work.
Here comes the item song from the album Fevicol Se. Sung by Mamta Sharma and Wajid the song is much more ahead then Munni Badnaam. The lyrics are double funny, the song has double amount of funn and everything in it. The song leaves all other item songs behind and has a very good potential to top all the charts this year. The way the song is sung gives you a fell of sitting in some village of North ad enjoying it. My favorite song from the album.
Saanson Ne is a simple romantic track sung by Sonu Nigam and Tulsi Kumar. The only let down in the entire album. The song is like some slow 90’s romantic song. Not at all likeable by today’s love birds. This one is a disappointment. The lyrics are also old fashioned and this one comes nowhere close to Chori Kiya Re Jiya from the earlier part.
Last and title track of the film Dabangg Reloaded is good to hear. It is somewhat like Hud Hud Dabangg but not as good as it. This one has it’s unique style still fails to create an impact what dabangg title track did. Overall the song is good in it’s position.
I compared all the songs to the Dabangg because all the songs in this part has the same feel, some reach that level and some fail to do so, but overall the Dabangg 2 album is good to hear as far as the film and the look and feel of the film is concerned. Dabangg 2 music is a winner all they way. One of the most enjoyable album of 2012. This one deserves a place in your collection.
My Favorites: Fevicol Se, Dagabaaz Re, Pandeyjee Seeti
My Verdict: 3.5/5
